Industry Challenge Partners for this event will have the opportunity to work with research teams with expertise including:

Designing and building cutting-edge optical systems;

YOUR CHALLENGE
We're looking for industry experts to help us frame Hackathon challenges for our researchers to tackle.
​
The Better Futures Innovation Challenge team will work with you to ensure the challenge is framed and presented optimally for a Hackathon format.
​
By sending a subject matter expert to attend the Hackathon event and help mentor and judge teams, you will be listed as a Challenge Partner for the program.
​
We have various sponsorship opportunities available if you want to increase your visibility and presence throughout the program.
CHALLENGE PARTNER CONTRIBUTIONS
The Better Futures Innovation Challenge will provide the opportunity for Industry Partners to engage and network with a large pool of Australia’s top early career researchers. To become a Challenge Partner you will be asked to:​

Help a team of your choice develop their idea further;

Work on a real challenge that matters to your business and a detailed problem brief our researchers can tackle;

Provide a Hackathon judge (two full days);
-
Provide a Hackathon mentor (for duration of program).
